“As part of a two-level office and amenities refurbishment, RAPIX was selected as the lighting control system of choice due to the architectural constraints of the existing infrastructure. The layout made it impractical to connect all luminaires to a single DALI line. RAPIX’s advanced architecture enabled seamless integration and coordination across multiple lighting zones, all managed through a central rotary dial interface.

One of the key advantages of the RAPIX system is its ability to maintain cohesive control across distributed zones without requiring a continuous physical DALI loop. This flexibility proved essential in adapting the system to the building’s structural limitations while delivering a consistent user experience.

To enhance energy efficiency and usability, the installation was programmed with intelligent day and night modes. During business hours, lights in office spaces remain active when triggered, ensuring consistent illumination for occupants. After hours, the system automatically times out lights 20 minutes after activation, promoting energy savings without sacrificing convenience.

Looking ahead, the system has been future-proofed to accommodate additional staff. RAPIX Widget control has been preconfigured, allowing employees to control individual lighting above their workstations directly from their PCs. This reduces the need for wall-mounted switches and provides a scalable, user-centric solution for evolving office needs.”
